bluebellgray x Isle of Harris Distillery

Inspired by the colours of our island and its ever-changing light, we’re delighted to present our latest collaboration with Scottish design studio Bluebellgray. Once again, we’ve worked with founder and artist Fi Douglas, whose family ties lie here in the Outer Hebrides, and taken our inspiration from the vibrant land and seascapes of Harris.

Following the success of our recent outdoor blanket creation which sold out online within minutes, this new collection continues a shared celebration of Scottish creativity, craftsmanship and a deep connection to our natural world.

At its heart is a lightweight wool and silk scarf featuring Fi’s original watercolour painting of Luskentyre beach, created during time spent on the island. Soft, flowing and full of colour, it captures something of the shoreline’s shifting light and wide Atlantic skies.

Alongside the scarf sits a collection of lambswool beanies in three Hebridean-inspired shades…Heather, Kelp and Hushinish. Each reflects the colours of moorland grasses, seaweed greens and deep turquoise coastal waters.

Designed and made in Scotland from 100% lambswool, the beanies are warm, comfortable and enduring, made to be worn through every season, whether walking the shore, swimming in cold Atlantic waters or simply bringing a little of the islands into everyday life.

The range is now available on the Bluebellgray website store, with the exclusive Hushinish colourway, inspired by the vivid blue-green waters of this remote beach on north-west Harris, is available only from the distillery shop in our home village of Tarbert
