We make our spirit in a remote corner of the world but we'd love you to make the journey to join us someday soon.
You’ll find us in the small village of Tarbert, where the Isle of Harris pinches into an isthmus between two sea lochs, the harbour moorings and local pier just a stone’s throw from our door.
Whether crossing The Minch by sea or by air, all winding roads will eventually lead you to us from the north and south of the Outer Hebrides.
However you choose to travel, simply bring a sense of adventure and we'll be ready to welcome you when you finally arrive...
If you are travelling from afar, the quickest and easiest way to reach us is by air. The nearest airport to us is Stornoway, the capital town of the neighbouring Isle of Lewis, 36 miles to our north. You can fly from the Scottish mainland connections of Glasgow, Edinburgh, Inverness, and Aberdeen.
You can also arrive by sea, most conveniently by ferry from Uig in Skye, disembarking at the pier in East Loch Tarbert just yards from our distillery. Alternatively, you can sail from Ullapool to Stornoway or land in Leverburgh to our south from Berneray. Those of you who skipper their own boats can make use of the new Harris Marina pontoons in the bay in front of the distillery from 2018 onwards.
Whether driving, riding, cycling, or walking, you can find us in the village of Tarbert, simply look for 'Tairbeart' on the Gaelic roadsigns or ask anyone local for directions. We are set in the heart of our community and not hard to find...
