Rachel Reports…

Back in July we were delighted to bring Rachel Macdonald into the distillery family, and soon set her to work sharing our spirit and story south of the border.

Over the last few months Rachel has been busy doing just that, with a particular focus on London, a big task given our humble Outer Hebridean beginnings.

But we love a challenge and we’re pleased to say our Isle of Harris Gin is already making waves in the capital city as Rachel creates new friendships and connections.

In September, we held the first of our collaborative dining events with the good folk at Flora Indica, as we explored the joys of Indian cuisine, Scottish ingredients and beautiful gin botanicals.

These food adventures continue this month as we pair up with the talented team at Escocesa for a night of Scottish seafood full of Spanish influences. If you’d like to dine with us on November 13th tickets are on sale now.

Later this month, we’ll also be joining the team at Stillwater cocktail bar and restaurant for a special evening of Isle of Harris Gin Martinis, paired with fresh oysters and a bespoke cocktail menu too.

And, as our Seafood Project gets underway we’re proud to be partnering with Outlaw’s at the Capital in Knightsbridge on a unique recipe showcasing their Michelin-star cooking, complete with a specially paired cocktail.

Finally, for the well-groomed gentlemen of this great city, we’ve been working with Murdock Barbershops who have been pouring complimentary Isle of Harris G&Ts for their 'cut-above-the-rest' customers.

Rachel reports...

“It’s been an exciting few months spending time making in-roads in London on behalf of the Isle of Harris as an ambassador for our remarkable project. The one thing that’s struck me (other than the sheer vastness of the city!) is that our story of social purpose speaks volumes to those I'm introducing to our Isle of Harris Gin.”

Show-goers can enjoy our Isle of Harris Gin at all Delfont Mackintosh theaters and it's also much easier for Londoners to get hold of our spirit with the launch of seven Click and Collect locations across the city thanks to our partners at Soho Wine Supply and Borough Wines.

We’ll be getting more reports from Rachel as the months go by and our English friends can look forward to connecting with us as her journey across the country continues.

Meantime, wherever you live in the UK, we invite you to find our spirit on our interactive map. And our international friends can find us via the links below, with more countries coming soon…
