Isle of Harris Gin Dot Com

As we enter our second year of distilling we continue to make strides with new ideas and exciting endeavours. So with the success of our Isle of Harris Gin in mind we thought we’d share more of our inaugural island spirit online and in the best possible manner. Tonight we’re delighted to launch a new ‘microsite’ designed to complement our main distillery website but fully dedicated to our Isle of Harris Gin.

We’ve built a simple and involving new site around some wonderful new images by photographer Laurence Winram, taking visitors behind the scenes, many for the first time. You’ll catch a glimpse of ‘The Dottach’ still as a distiller introduces a bag of carefully weighed botanicals to her belly, there are new photographs of our beautiful bottle set within Harris landscapes and seas and you’ll even meet some of the staff if you delve deep enough.

There’s information on tasting notes to help you enjoy your gin even more, with a wee guide to the nose, palate and finish, and we’ve outlined what we call ‘The Harris Serve’, the way we like to build our perfect G&T. Over time we plan to introduce more special serves to inspire your creative cocktail making, all accompanied by fabulous photographs, to get your juices flowing too.

There’s a purchase section to provide access to the main website’s shop, focusing just on Isle of Harris Gin related goods. We’re delighted to include our new Isle of Harris Gin gift sets here as well. From ‘The Harris Serve’ and ‘The Harris Serve +’ to ‘The Harris Share’ and ‘The Harris Share +’ we think you’ll find the ideal gift to give to friends and loved ones on any special occasion.

The new gifts sets are practical, preserving your precious contents while we ship them from our shores to your door, but also wonderfully designed and feature new work and words by our designer Graham Walker (who last week won Corporate Communications Award at the Scottish Creative Awards for his work on our hand-bound 1,916 book). We love his creativity and think you will too.

So please bookmark www.isleofharrisgin.com and click through to enjoy an online journey with our gin. Feel free to recommend and share with your friends and do drop us a line with ideas on the sort of things you’d like to see appear as the new site develops and grows.

And don’t forget to visit our main website at www.harrisdistillery.com and, as always, you’ll continue to find us being social every day on all our main social media channels.
